I calmly reminded her that she was married. My father and mother have been together for 21 years almost and my father works over the road so he is gone for days at a time. My mother told me that she isn’t going to meet anyone, just wants someone to talk to… I just told to get out more.
Just the thought of a married woman going on a dating site just for someone to talk to scares the crap out of me. What if someone were to fall in love with her. What if she doesn’t know it but she starts leading someone on? What if she lets her guard down for a small amount of time and gets herself into a sticky situation. There are so many “what if’s”!

What is this world coming to?
My mother wanted to go on to an online dating site just to talk to someone.
What happened to social interaction?
I understand the online dating part, my boyfriend and I met online, but to go on a site just for someone to talk to?

It really makes you wonder how many people are actually going online just to “talk” to someone?

Maybe that is why you can set your relationship status on an online dating site to “married” “single” or “living with someone”…

I think there are just certain things in this world that I am not supposed to understand and when those certain things I am ok not knowing…
